Planning? Nah, I'm winging life like a pro πββοΈ
I had a chat with my friend, and she asked me what my plans were for next summerβwhere Iβd travel and what Iβd do. Honestly, I was a bit shocked and just told her, βI donβt even know where Iβll be for New Yearβs or how Iβm going to spend it, pfft.βπ π¨
It was kind of funny, and it made me realize Iβm living very much in the moment, day by day. I mean, if you donβt make plans, nothing can really go wrong, right? And that means thereβs nothing to feel bad about either. Is that some kind of strong aura energy?π€ π§
Of course, Iβm joking. Iβm not saying this is the best approach to life, but with how fast everythingβs been changing in the world and in life lately, sometimes you really donβt know whatβs coming next. At this point, my planning horizon is about a weekπ§³
What about you? Do you plan everything out, or just go with the flow?π¦¦

The universe shrinks π
Weird feeling when you go to bed at night and realize that in just one day, youβve taken two flights, crossed insane distances, and now youβre falling asleep in the same place you woke up this morningβas if nothing ever happenedπ€―
This is exactly what I meant when I said planning isnβt really my thing. The universe shrinks, and it always has plans of its own ππ€
Only two things I managed to do in Belgrade:
- tried the best burgerπ
- visited church βͺοΈ

Good food = good mood ππΌββοΈ
Tips from my nutritionist, part 1
I know how much you love this topic, so here are some golden nuggets of advice about healthy eating. Sharing what should be part of everyoneβs diet and whatβs better to avoid altogether.
Hereβs the backbone of a solid diet:
π₯π₯¬ Veggies and greens β the more variety, the better. (Look how your stomach reacts on it, maybe before sleep is not a great idea)
π«π« Legumes like lentils, beans, and chickpeas. (Lentil soup is my favourite)
πΎ Whole grains β quinoa, barley, buckwheat, wild rice, amaranth, pearl barley, and bulgur. (I started having Kinoa porridge on coconut milk with berries for breakfast instead of oatmeal β I feel much lighter after ποΈ)
π₯π Protein sources β poultry, eggs, fish, seafood, dairy (if tolerated), tofu, chickpeas, and red meat π₯© (but keep that to 2-3 times a week).
π₯π« Healthy fats & Omega-3s β avocado, olive oil, fatty fish (like salmon or herring), flaxseeds, and walnuts.
ππ« Antioxidants β berries, low-sugar fruits, and tea. (I always drink infusions without caffeine, like Rooibos π΅)
What to cut out:
Nothing permanently β yay! ππΌ
Donβt restrict yourself eat anything. This can affect your mental health. Thatβs why I allow myself to have a burger or a soda now and then. But I treat it like taking out a credit. For example, if I eat a burger today, tomorrow Iβll have an intense workout and healthy food π
But try to minimize:
ππ₯€ ultra-processed foods, fast food, sodas (even the 0-cal kind), added sugars, baked goods made with wheat flour, and AGEs (advanced glycation end products) from things like crispy crusts or charred foodβthey speed up aging and might cause wrinkles! Also, avoid preservatives whenever possible.
(I never order any drinks except water or tea. And never have it with food, only 20-30 mins after)
The other day, my nutritionist gave me a recipe for a "powerful" smoothie thatβs especially great for the colder months. Iβm planning to try it soon and will definitely share the recipe with you! Stay tunedπΉ πͺ

My approach to building a wardrobe is pretty minimalistic π¦
Iβd rather have fewer clothes or accessories, but ones Iβm absolutely confident inβpieces Iβll wear over and over again. Comfort and ease always come first. Thatβs why, in my everyday life, I often lean towards sporty or casual looks ππΌββοΈ
Of course, if the occasion calls for it, I can dress up in something bold or evening-appropriate. But if a dress or shoes arenβt comfortable to wear - khalas, Iβll never wear them. Even if theyβre super expensive or from a top brand. It just doesnβt align with how I feel inside ππ«· π°
Iβm also not a fan of the culture of mindless consumptionβοΈ where trends change every month, pushing you to constantly update your wardrobe π«¨
What about you? Do you prioritise comfort or fashion?π
