Healthy Food = Healthy Mind & Body πͺπΌπ±
Briefly: I've been focusing on a healthy lifestyle for quite some time nowβexercise, maintaining a balanced relationship with food (no restrictions, I eat what I want), and fully avoiding alcohol and smoking. I also practice mindfulness. And for the past few years - I feel waaaay better and strongerπ€
π₯ Through conversations with many successful and intelligent people I admire, Iβve noticed their incredible levels of awareness and discipline . I truly believe these are two of the most important skills we need to upgrade and pay attention to π§
I've found the best nutritionistπ©ββοΈ who helps me become even more aware of what Iβm eating and ensures I get the most out of my diet.
My requests: more energy, maximizing vitamins from food, and achieving beautiful skin, hair, and bodyπΈ
Here are some recommendations from my amazing nutritionist this week βπΌ:
1οΈβ£ Start your morning with warm water! Donβt eat before drinking it.
2οΈβ£ Chew slowlyβat least 25 times (yes, Iβm counting)
3οΈβ£ Donβt eat frequently. The best option is 3 meals with 4-hour breaks in between
4οΈβ£ Have a protein-fat breakfast with fiber and slow carbs. Donβt start the day with sweets
5οΈβ£ Start lunch with veggies whenever possible
6οΈβ£ Avoid large amounts of simple carbohydratesβthis will help reduce appetite and prevent issues like acne, depression, and inflammation
7οΈβ£ Vegetables are essential: they provide fiber, vitamins, minerals, and are great for your microbiome
8οΈβ£ Avoid snacking out of habit. If you feel the need for a snack, choose proteins and fats, not carbs
9οΈβ£ And yes, vegetables are so important that itβs worth repeatingβdonβt forget about them!
1οΈβ£ 0οΈβ£ Donβt forget about cocoa! Itβs packed with magnesium, antioxidants, and polyphenols, with almost no caffeine (almond/hazelnut milk, but not Nesquik, please :)
