Are Jettons tokens?

Yes, on TON, these tokens are known as "jettons." A jetton is a token issued on the TON Blockchain, while Toncoin serves as the main cryptocurrency of the TON Blockchain.

You'll need to pay a commission in Toncoin for any jetton-related actions. The easiest way to buy Toncoin is through the Wallet.

Where can I look for jettons?

TON App is a good place to start discovering. However, among all the jettons issued over the past year, two categories stand out:

● Utilitarian jettons: These tokens serve specific purposes within particular services. They may grant access to advanced product features or closed communities.

● Memecoins: These tokens are inspired by internet memes. Their value depends, in part, on the popularity of a specific meme or associated community.

Remember, Wallet and TON Space are two separate services. You can store, exchange, and send jettons only within TON Space. Transferring jettons to Wallet risks losing them.

Wallet P2P Market got an important update — buyers must upload a payment receipt when purchasing cryptocurrency. The process is easy and straightforward — after making your payment, simply tap the "I made a payment" button to upload your receipt.

Remember: payment confirmation is only possible by uploading the receipt.

Wallet's main screen has been updated — added a QR code scanner icon, alongside a settings gear. Now, you can effortlessly scan the recipient's QR code for cryptocurrency transfers. Wallet automatically fills in the required address, making transactions smoother than ever.

You can now better protect your digital assets by setting up a passcode. This code will be required to approve any transaction in Wallet. It adds an additional layer of protection in case your Telegram account is at risk.

To create a passcode, navigate to the Wallet settings section and select "Passcode & Face ID" Choose a 4-character code and enter your email address for passcode recovery. For additional security, iOS users can enable Touch ID or Face ID. This feature will soon be available for Android users as well!
