💎 Major TON Space Update

Over the last two weeks, TON Space has received several major updates. Some of our subscribers have already noticed them, and for everyone else, here’s what has changed:

Token filtering and hiding. Navigating your tokens has become more convenient: assets can be collapsed, and tokens with a zero balance are automatically hidden. This update is particularly handy for users who have a large number of tokens.

Connected apps. The TON Space settings now display a complete list of apps (dApps) connected to your wallet: managing connections is now possible without leaving Telegram.

TON Connect redesign. This update brings an improved transaction confirmation screen, now providing real-time visibility into all transaction details.

Detailed transaction history. Transactions in TON Space are now neatly organized, providing a clear overview of all your activities, including swaps, bids on Fragment, token transfers and much more.

Display of TON Domain on the main screen. If you have a domain name, your TON Domain will now be displayed on the main screen instead of the address itself. For example, alicia.ton instead of UQds…v6fd.

We almost forgot: You can already buy Telegram Premium, an anonymous number, or a unique username using TON Space at Fragment 😉

💎 Bitcoin hits $72,800!

Bitcoin has reached a new ATH of $72,000 for the first time since November 2021, surpassing the $65,000 mark. Many are now wondering whether it's too late to invest. However, 70% of our channel's subscribers believe the price will climb to $80,000.

While Wallet does not predict future and cannot offer financial advice, we can provide some insights into halving. For those unfamiliar, halving refers to the reduction of Bitcoin miner rewards by half (find out more here), which in turn makes mining more costly and reduces the number of new coins entering the market.

✂️ The initial halving event took place in 2012 when Bitcoin's value was just $12—that's 6000 times less than today's peak. Six months after that, its value increased to $120. Subsequent halvings in 2016 and 2020 also saw price increases, but not as dramatic. After the second halving, the price went from $650 to $950, and following the third, from $9,100 to $15,000.

The fourth halving is expected to occur in April. Some analysts suggest caution, noting the market now has more participants and halving effects might already be priced in. However, the recent market dynamics indicate a more optimistic outlook among users compared to analysts.

Each week, we'll briefly explain a few useful crypto terms. You can find the topic of interest using the hashtag #glossary in the title. Today, let's break down the difference between two types of crypto wallets:

Custodial Wallet — a custodial wallet is managed by a third party. Using a custodial wallet offers simplicity and convenience, and you have the option to regain access. This makes it an ideal option for beginners.

Non-custodial Wallet — a non-custodial wallet is managed solely by you. Access is granted via a secret phrase (or seed phrase), and all transactions occur on the blockchain. Losing your secret phrase means losing access to your assets, however, such wallets provide enhanced control over your digital assets, making them perfect for experienced users.

Simply put, Wallet is a custodial service, while TON Space is non-custodial 💎

🪄 Open Wallet with a single tap

Android device users can now access Wallet without even opening Telegram first. Check out the video on how you can open Wallet directly from your home screen (yes, just in one tap). Here's a simple guide:

● Update Telegram to the latest version
● Open Wallet and tap on the "⋮" icon in the upper right corner
● Select "Add to Home Screen"

That's it! In the pop-up window, you can choose where you'd like to add the Wallet shortcut – either directly on your home screen or in the app page.
