የመገጭ ግድብ ግንባታው ከተጀመረ 8 ዓመታት አልፈውታል:: በጣም በመጓተቱ ሕዝብ ያስመረረ፣ ሀገር ያከሰረ ፕሮጀክት ነበር። መንግሥት ክትትል ማድረግ ከጀመረ በኋላ ባለፈው አንድ ዓመት ውስጥ ግንባታው እየተፋጠነ ይገኛል:: አሁን ከ70 በመቶ በላይ ደርሷል:: በቀጣዮቹ አምስት ወራት ውስጥ ሙሉ በሙሉ ለማጠናቀቅ እየተሠራ ነው:: ግንባታው ሲጠናቀቅ ለጎንደር መጠጥ ውኃ እና ለመስኖ ልማት ይውላል::
It has been over eight years since the Megech dam construction began. It has been a point of contention for people of the area given the delay induced resource wastage. In the past year especially the construction has accelerated and is at 70% at the moment. Within the next five months, it will be finalized and available for drinking water and irrigation development.
